Poly-Props Ltd is a UK manufacturer of specialist foams, coatings and creative materials used across film, television, scenic fabrication, automotive and commercial industries.

We are entering a new phase of growth, expanding our coatings division and strengthening our brand positioning across professional markets. We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to support our brand development, campaigns and digital presence.

This is not a generic social media role. It is an opportunity to contribute to the growth of a manufacturing brand repositioning itself within industry.

The Role

You will support the marketing and brand function across:

• Campaign planning and execution

• Product launches

• Trade events and exhibitions

• Website content updates

• Social media and digital content

• Email marketing

• Photography and basic video capture

• Supporting lead generation activity

You will work closely with the Managing Director and Brand Manager to deliver consistent, professional brand communication.

Hybrid working is available, with some on-site presence required for content creation and events.

Key Responsibilities

Brand & Content:

• Assist with creation of social media content

• Support product photography and short-form video

• Help maintain consistent brand messaging

• Prepare graphics for campaigns and promotions

• Update website product listings and blog content

Campaign Support:

• Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns

• Support email marketing activity

• Help track campaign performance

• Prepare marketing materials for events and sales teams

Commercial Support:

• Help organise and manage lead lists

• Assist with event preparation

• Support customer communication where required

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• Strong written communication skills

• Good organisational ability

• Confident using social media platforms

• Comfortable using Adobe suite or similar design tools

• Detail-focused

• Able to manage multiple tasks

Desirable:

• Experience in marketing, branding or communications

• Experience with Shopify, BigCommerce or similar platforms

• Basic photography or video editing skills

• Interest in manufacturing, coatings or creative industries

Personal Qualities

• Proactive and self-motivated

• Commercially aware

• Professional in communication

• Comfortable working in a small team

• Willing to learn and grow
